I started playing professionally in my late teens and found that playing guitar and making music is one of the best ways to make life worth living. Performing locally is simply the icing on the cake, contributing to a lifetime of health and happiness.

Conversely, craving fame and fortune, in the music industry is one of the fastest ways to destroy your health and ruin your happiness.
Fame only lasts 5 to 10 years.
If you haven’t been discovered by the right people, with lots of money and influence, before you’re 18, you’ve missed the boat.

Fame and Fortune vs Health and Happiness
…. you get to choose.

Become a Local Musician for Fun and Profit

Simply put, the SoloBand System gives you access to my personally created, copyright-protected backing tracks. These are high-quality MIDI files including Bass, Drums, and Piano (you can hear them in my video library). These songs have a proven track record of entertaining both mature and youthful audiences.

The “Live Band” Sound—Without the Band

I created the SoloBand system so I could sound like a full, live 3 or 4-piece band. It allowed me to provide top-tier entertainment and dance music for pubs, bars, service clubs, and other social functions in my local area. This allowed me to provide a valuable community service at a reasonable, affordable cost.
While I developed the SoloBand system to help me perform professionally, it is now available to you. For a modest sum, my system offers a rewarding play-for-fun-and-profit opportunity or a unique “live band” sound you can practice with at home.

The SoloBand Pro Toolkit

Going “Pro” is about more than just the music. Along with the backing track files, the SoloBand Pro system includes:

  • MIDI Mastery: Information on how to use and modify backing tracks to fit your style.

  • The Gear Guide: Suggestions on the equipment you’ll need to perform live.

  • Pro Savings: Tips on where to find the best gear at a reduced cost.

Where could a SoloBand play?

•  Local service clubs – Legions, Elks, Rotary
•  Local pubs, bars, lounges and night clubs
•  Local weddings, birthdays and graduations
•  Local block parties and social events
•  Local singles clubs and community halls
•  Local Street malls and band shells

•  Community parades and celebrations
•  Christmas & New Years parties and dances
•  Local music festivals and fall fairs
•  Local senior citizen homes
•  Nearby Towns & Communities… within Driving Distance

As a local performer myself, I have played in most of these venues, and
my SoloBand system provides the exact same songs I’m using myself.

Choose Songs That a Real Local Band Could Play

The Hero Picture Above Could Be Your Audience.

What Music Should a SoloBand Play?

The range of music you can perform is endless. If it can be played on a guitar, piano, or organ and appeals to an adult audience, it’s a candidate for the SoloBand System.

To sound like an authentic local band, stick to music that a small, live group could actually play.

The Golden Rules

Because your backing tracks consist of a Bass, Drums, and Piano or Organ, your live performance has a specific, high-quality sound. To keep that sound believable, follow these rules:

  • Skip the Electronic Music: Most adults want “real” music meant for easy listening and couple dancing.

  • Avoid the “Super Band” Sound: As a solo singer, it is almost impossible to recreate the massive sound of bands like the Beatles or the Rolling Stones, or the heavy vocal harmonies of groups like ABBA.

  • Keep it Natural: If a real 3-piece band couldn’t play it live in a local pub, you shouldn’t try to “fake” it with a backing track.

The Proven Playlist

The best way to see what works is to browse my Video Library. You will find a 60 song collection that has been “field-tested” for success. These tracks are perfect for mature audiences, but I’ve found they also work well for younger crowds.

You may not be aware, but many thousands of local bands had to give up playing in the 1980s, because stiffer DUI penalties forced people to stop “going out on the town”.

Traditionally, local venues use the profits from liquor sales to cover entertainment costs. Band equipment is expensive and 3 and 4 piece bands have a lot of overhead such as transportation, meals etc.

Without “full house” attendances, local venues couldn’t afford to pay 3 or 4 piece bands enough money to make it worth playing. So most local bands just stopped playing.

About 1/2 of North Americans are adults over 25 (mature adults who may be parents, married, single or senior citizens). For over 40 years these millions of adults have been waiting for local bands and musicians to start playing again.

Most adults don’t like DJs or Rave parties. They like country, pop or rock-n-roll music. When they go out with friends, they want to dance as couples and have conversations with friends and neighbors without yelling across the table.

The SoloBand online opportunity includes
the following elements!

1) You get the ability to learn guitar the fast, easy and fun way… Just like tens of thousands of people did in the early days of Rock “n” Roll.

2) You get access to my advanced “Quantum Guitar” method that introduces a concept that makes your guitar chords come alive by adding melody notes

3) You get my library of 60 hits from the 50s, 60s, and 70s (4 x 1 hour sets of 15 songs). This list of country, pop and rock ‘n’ roll songs have proven very popular with local adult audiences and they are exactly the same files I play during my live on stage performances. Cost $4 each.

Midi backing tracks typically cost from $7 to $10 each.
So 60 of these files = $400 to $600

In my video library , you not only get the video clips but you also get my “play along” sheets with notations and capo settings – so grab your guitar and have some fun.

4) Throughout history, the guitar has been a favorite instrument for people to create and express music. However, today it’s often used as a wall decoration by those who don’t know how to play.

My online content aims to inspire both new and experienced guitar players by sharing the history of the guitar throughout 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s. Nowadays, learning to play the guitar can be challenging due to the prominence of electronic music, but this will change!

If you want to start building a second income that offers a lifetime of enjoyment and satisfaction, or if you just want to enjoy the experience of playing with a band…I can help you get started. I’m offering access to my personal collection of 60 MIDI songs along with essential information to guide you.

5) For more than 15 years, while our children were growing up, my wife and I played as a duo. Using a similar SoloBand system with bass and drums, I was the lead singer playing guitar, and my wife sang female songs, added harmony, and played keyboard.

As a blue-collar worker, playing most weekends helped us raise our children, kept our band equipment up to date, and helped with household expenses.

After working all week, anticipating a weekend of playing music and meeting old and new friends was a lifeline from the endless daily grind.

Whether you play guitar, bass, or keyboard, or want to play as a soloist or a duo, My SoloBand local musician system gives everyone the opportunity to have fun, build memories and get more out of life.

Dance Music Today…

There are millions of mature adults starving for live entertainment and they don’t want RAVE bashes or DJs.

They want the music suitable for mature adults, where couples hold each other close and they can talk with friends and neighbors without shouting.

Crowd Dancing

It’s not true that people in the past never danced.

Take a look at a jive dancing crowd from the 50’s

These people really knew how to dance and they lived the Rock ‘n’ Roll life style.

Still jiving like crazy

Take a look at happy adults jive or hand dancing in modern times.

Rock ‘n’ Roll and Jive or hand dancing is still popular! So are the Country and Pop songs of the 50s, 60s and 70s.

70 plus years and still Jiving?

Even seniors continue hand dancing if given the chance.

These are the same people who started the Rock ‘n’ Roll craze back in the 1950’s
